BABY ROOM

At Higgys House Creche, we understand that handing over your baby for the first time is a big step for you. That is why we strive to make this transition as stress free as possible for you and your baby. While it may take you awhile to adjust to the separation babies will settle quickly into to their new environment and will learn to know and trust their carers.

All babies need individual care. At Higgys we work very closely with the parents especially during the settling in period to get to know your baby their routines and their individual needs.

Higgys House qualified and experienced staff have a created a curriculum based on providing a range of daily activities which are designed to encourage the babies to experiment and explore through a variety of play and sensory experiences using an assortment of different materials all within a safe and warm environment. Music, stories and songs are also an integral part of the baby’s day.

Then when all that playing/learning is over we have a dedicated sleep room where each baby has their own cot and sleep time routine.

Each day we will have a “Daily report” ready for you. This written note details how your baby slept, How they ate and what happened or didn’t at nappy time!
